| 'Poshan Abhiyan Concluded at K.C. College of Education' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 30: The ongoing "Poshan Abhiyan" or Nutrition Month as strategized by the office of the Programme Coordinator, NSS, University of Jammu, was concluded at K.C. College of Education today. On this occasion a 'Group discussion' was held. All the participants were divided in to three groups and assigned the respective topics. These were 'Nutrition awareness', 'Eating disorder' and 'Impact of fast food'.
The whole purpose of the event was to make pupils aware of the importance of healthy eating habits keeping in view our sedentary life style which can invite various life style diseases in the later life.
The other activities undertaken during the month were an awareness rally on Balanced Diet, a Nukkad Natak on the same, a Poster Making and Collage making Competition on Nutrition and Balanced Diet. |
