| GDC Paloura celebrate Poshan Maah | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Govt. Degree College (Paloura) Mishriwala celebrates Nutritional Month (Poshan Maah) by organising a Poster Making Competition in the College. A rally was also organised by the NSS Unit of the College in the adjoining villages near kangar Morh. The main objective of the rally was to make people aware of malnutirion, Balanced Diet and the impact of fast food and pacakage food on our health. The rally was flagged off by the Principal of College Prof. Rita Bhagat, along with Staff members. The NSS Volunteers along with the NSS Programme officer Dr. Sanjay Kapoor also promoted the use of organic manure instead of harmful additives, insecticides and pesticides. Student's also interacted with the farmers, so that they produce organic vegetables and pulses which can be helpful in making the Nation Healthy. |
