Jammu, Oct 7: Embracing the policies of Bharatiya Janata Party, many Naib Sarpanchs and Panchs in large numbers along with their supporters, predominantly from Gujjar and Bakkerwal community representing areas of Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency, joined the party at its headquarter at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. BJP State Vice-President Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, party leaders Mohd. Rafiq and Liaqat Ali facilitated the joining, whereas party State Spokesperson Dr. Tahir Choudhary, State Incharge Membership Drive Jugal Dogra, District President & JMC Chairman Baldev Singh Billawaria, District General Secretary Vinay Gupta, Mandal President Ankush Gupta and other senior leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta while welcoming the new entrants into the party, that the policies of the BJP leadership is being appreciated by one and all and that is the reason that almost daily all the active social and the political personalities are eager to embrace the policies of the party to serve the masses better than before. He said that the party observes that their support will further strengthen the party and also enable these ST leaders to represent their community's views on the fronts with more vigour.

Aslam Naib Sarpanch Narwal Bala, Parveen Akhter Panch Lower Sunjwan, Avtar Singh Naib Sarpanch Satwari, Riyaz Choudhary, Sunil Kumar, Nazir Hussain, Altaf Hussain, Farqaad, Shokat Ali, Sham Din, Mohd. Hussain, Shakeel Ahmed, Masooda Bibi, Kasoom Bibi, Naseem, Beeru, Mansha Bibi, Kasoom Bibi, Sanjay Sharma, Mir Alam, Yakoob, Mushtaq, Hakim Din, Mohd Yaqub, Ch. Faqar Din and others were amongst the prominent, who along with their supporters joined BJP on the occasion.
