| RSB organizes "Mission Parivartan" | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 11: PM's vision of ban on single use plastic has seen taking concrete shape with initiation of "Mission Parivartan" as pilot project undertaken by Rising Star Bayonets, aimed at effective segregation, collection & disposal of different kinds of waste, especially plastic.
The 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was commemorated by organising various competitions for children on the theme 'Say No To Plastics'. An extensive awareness programme was undertaken on the menace of plastic & ways to segregate the same. The success of the mission is being emulated in all military stations of the Rising Star Corps and promises to serve as a model for implementation across all military establishment in the country. |
