| SIF expresses gratitude for releasing of cash relief to POJK DPs | | |

JAMMU, Oct 11: All J&K POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum (SIF) convene a meeting under the chairmanship of Paramjeet Singh, vice president of the Forum.
In the meeting, members expressed gratitude over the announcement for release of Rs 5.50 lakh per family of 5300 families of POJK DPs of 1947 who were residing in other states of India.
The Forum thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this announcement and also requested for release remaining Rs 25 lakhs to the DPs of 1947, 1965 and 1971 for one time settlement in one row at the earliest. Surjit Singh General Secretary of the Forum while addressing in the meeting appealed to Prime Minister of India as well as Home Minster of India to free Pak occupied Kashmir which is part India and also thanked to Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal and Majinder Singh Sirsa President POJK Refugees. |
