POONCH, Oct 11: District Panchayat Election Officer, Rahul Yadav, today convened a meeting with the nodal officers in connection with the Block Development Council elections in the district. The DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers regarding the location of collection and dispatch centres for election material, transport plan, randomization and training and ballot paper printing room. The DPEO informed that the training of ROs/AROs shall be conducted on 12.10.2019 and P0, P1, P2, P3 on 15th and 19th of October at Dak Bungalow Poonch and the randomization of the concerned officers shall be conducted in one phase on 22nd of October 2019. The DDC stressed upon the concerned officers to put in place extra efforts to ensure that the elections are conducted in a smooth, fair and hassle free manner.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Mohd. Rashid, Additional Deputy Commissioner Malikzada Sheraz-Ul -Haq, District Treasury Officer Mohd. Akram, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bashir Ahmed Lone, Deputy District Election officer Vikas Anand, Assistant Regional transport officer Jugal Kishore, SDM surankote Saleem Ahmed, SDM Mendhar Sahil Jandayal, Executive Engineer R&B Amar Singh Katoch, AIO NIC Parvinder Singh, Observer's and other concerned officers. |
