Jammu, Oct 12: A joint meeting of J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (R) was held today under the Chairmanship of its State President Babu Hussain Malik, who appealed the Governor of J&K State to release 5% DA due from July, 2019 on the pattern of Central government employees before Diwali as the prices of all the items are rising day by day.
Further, he warned the State Government to desist from the policy of privatization of government department as it will jeopardize the carrier of thousands of employees. Other demands of the employees include Removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre/amendment in SRO-333.
Revocation of SRO-520 and SRO-30-GAD of 2019 dated 24-05-2019 which is totally against the interest of poor employees. Regularization of all Daily wagers/Contractual /consolidated/NYC employees/Need based casual laborers, Seasonal Labourer, Anganwadi workers and helpers. 5 days a week working in all the offices outside Civil Secretariat also. Enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 5000 per month. Creation of one separate department of Clerical cadre having common seniority on the pattern of Accounts Cadre and Planning Cadre.
