Govt should take adequate steps to ensure public rights as citizens of India: Partap | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: Young Panthers today appealed to the Home Ministry of India & J&K Government to restore internet services in J&K. Talking to the media persons here today, State Vice President , Young Panthers, Partap Singh Jamwal said though the Home Ministry of India and also the Governor of J&K is claiming that situation in J&K is fast becoming normal yet but why put silence about the restoration of internet service. He said that internet had become a part of people lives due to which general public is suspicious of Govt. claim of normalcy. "Ridiculing the argument that mobile internet ban had been imposed to prevent its misuse by anti-national, it was like ordering motor vehicles to stop ply on road so as to prevent accident", said Partap. He said being without an internet connection in the present times is less than being marooned on an island. He said most of the young entrepreneurs who runs an online marketing business and graphic solutions and other business unit, frequent internet ban has hit hill business. He said it is shame how in these times of technological and the vancent. We are deprived of even basic internet access which is vital by our business to survive. He alleged that the Student community of J&K are unable to prepare to various exams schedule in view of the internet blockade. He said the government has put their carrier at stake by suspending the internet services. He said government respond to the serious nature of my predicament and take adequate step to ensure the public rights as citizens of India. |
