Jammu, Oct 12: One day awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Govt. Higher Secondary School Ghrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
In the awareness camp the students of higher Classes/staff were given the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, Fire Fighting alongwith demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion, Dy.SP, Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also share her views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster.
Mohammad Hafiz, Principal of the School, Miss Lovely Sharma, Research Officer SIE Jammu and Staff highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy.SP, Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organized an important awareness programme. At least 350 students of higher classes (Girls/Boys) and teaching/Non teaching staff attended the awareness programme. |
