Jammu, Oct 12: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party today visited the tense areas along International Border in Jammu District, J&K & enquired about the problems being faced by the people residing close to international border.
Prof. Bhim Singh accompanied by Anita Thakur, General Secretary, Adv. Bansi Lal Sharma, Advisor, Jagdev Singh, State Secretary and others.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed shock on the attitude of the Administration looking after the areas close to the International Border and Line of Control.
He urged the President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind who is holding the command of entire Jammu & Kashmir under President's Rule.
He said that Jammu & Kashmir a still one state and is likely to be declared as twin Union Territories from the midnight of 31st October, 2019 in application of the Act of Parliament.
Prof. Bhim Singh has made an emotional appeal to the President of India to postpone the application of the Act of Parliament for reducing the status of J&K into two Union Territories, Ladakh & Jammu & Kashmir.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that application of this act vis-à-vis Jammu & Kashmir reducing it as a Union Territory has not been accepted by the people of Jammu & Kashmir nor this shall help to involve the people of Kashmir & Jammu in the process of rebuilding confidence of the people and involving them in the peace process.
