JAMMU, Nov 2: As many as 224 personnel of IRP 16th Battalion (Ramban) have been granted In Situ promotion by the Departmental Promotion Committee. The Departmental Promotion Committee constituted for examining the promotion cases of constables/ followers was convened under the chairmanship of A.K. Mahajan-SSP, Commandant IRP 16th Battalion. "The committee scrutinized 234 cases (223 constables and 11 followers), out of which ut of them 224 were found fit and qualified and were granted instu promotion vide order no. 421 of 2019," an official handout stated. |
