Jammu, Nov 2: Bahu-Fort Police arrested two persons along with 17 poppy-straw from their possession during checking from Narwar area.
According to sources a police party from Bahu-Fort headed by SHO Bishnesh Kumar intercepted a truck PB36-B 9614, and during checking of the truck, 17 Kg poppy-straw being illegally transported seized. "The arrested persons who were transported poppy-straw namely Irfan Ahmed and Muzahir Shah have been arrested. A case under section 8/15 NDPS act has been registered against the arrested persons", they added.
