11/2/2019 11:10:42 PM

Early Times Report

Ramnagar, Nov 2: JKNPP today organized a mega felicitation function in Ramnagar wherein the newly elected Chairmen of BDCs of Panthers Party of Ramnagar Constituency were honoured in the presence of a huge gathering of people by the Party Chairman and former Education Minister, Harsh Dev Singh. Those felicitated included Des Raj Chairman BDC Ramnagar, Darshan Kumar Chairman BDC Latti, Neelam Devi Chairperson BDC Parli Dhar, Gita Devi Chairperson BDC Chanunta, Sushma Devi Chairperson BDC Kulwanta, Dina Nath Chairman BDC Majalta and Om Prakash Chairman BDC Khoon. All Chairmen were presented mementos and bouquets by the Party Chairman amidst shouting of slogans by an enthusiastic crowd.
Addressing the gathering Harsh Dev Singh complimented the people for expressing their faith in Panthers Party and ensuring its land slide victory in BDC elections in Ramnagar. He said that people of Ramnagar had suffered utter neglect and deprivation during the past five years in the matter of development with not a single new worthwhile development project having been sanctioned during the period for Ramnagar, the ongoing schemes too had become defunct besides all developmental activity in rural areas having come to a grounding halt, regretted Singh. He said that shabby, dilapidated roads and chaotic power network had caused huge resentment amongst the common masses with none to take cognizance of repeated complaints and public clamours. The funds under various schemes were plundered with no accountability whatsoever said Singh adding that MGNREGA schemes launched for creation of rural infrastructure and providing wage employment was worst affected with payments of labourers remaining unpaid for the past 2-3 years. Assuring the people of a fair deal under the Panthers rule in Local bodies of Ramnagar, Singh roared that the recent elections had marked the end of an era of corruption and criminality in Ramnagar Constituency.
Appealing to all seven NPP Chairmen of BDCs of Ramnagar Constituency to pay regular visits to various Panchayats within their respective jurisdictions, Mr. Singh said that all Panches and Sarpanches should be taken on board at the time of formulation and finalization of different plans. He urged upon them to regularly monitor the developmental works so that there is no compromise with the quality of works executed in various Panchayats and Blocks. Referring to the repeated complaints of pilferages and plunder of funds in the PHE deptt of the constituency, he assured the people that the matter would be got investigated through the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) so as to bring the culprits to book in the gargantuan scam which is expected to be amounting to around Rs. 60 crores.
Manju Singh Gen. Secretary JKNPP appealed the people to unite to overthrow the narcissistically pleased and highly arrogant BJP which had completely deprived the rural and remote areas in the matters of development and employment.
