Jammu, Nov 4: We Care Welfare Society (WCWS) organized free eye, cataract, surgeries at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Ved Mandir , Ambphalla, Jammu. These patients of many villages of Kotli Bajalian Panchayat Ghar , Nomain, were screened out from the free medical camp which were held there on Sept 15. We invited these patients to the hospital, one day in advance , for making all necessary tests required for surgery. Free lodging & boarding were arranged. WCWS is grateful to all management committee members President Chaman Lal Gupta, General Secretary Atma Saroop Gupta, Medical Suptd Romesh Gupta for free eye surgeries at this hospital. All the patients which required surgery , were operated upon and medicines and spectacles were provided free of cost for proper post operative care. Dr Debapriya Chaterjee, Opthalalomist, did surgeries & we are highly thankful to her for undertaking all these cataract operations free of cost for the benefit of these BPL patients. Prof M Sadiq Nargal, Chairman, WCWS, also thanked Liaison Officer Pawan Sharma & paramedical staff X-ray Techn Varun Sharma, Lab Asstt Blood/Sugar, Vipin Majotra, ANM Shakuntla , NO Anita, GNM Meenu, NO Minto & Driver of Ambulance Mann Singh @Raju for rendering help & support.
