| GDC RS Pura organises Inter College Seminar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: Government Degree College RS Pura organized Inter College Seminar on the Philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in connection with the 'Celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The event was organised under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Sunita Sudan and supervision of Prof Rajinder Singh, Convener, Organizing Committee. Participants from 7 colleges namely, GGM Science College, GDC Bishnah, GCW Gandhi Nagar, GDC Jindrah, GCW Parade, SPMR College of Commerce and GDC R.S. Pura participated in the event.
Prof. Dharvinder Kumar welcomed all the faculty members and the participants from different colleges during the occasion. The judges for the event were Dr. Richpal Singh, Prof. Amit Kumar and Dr. Vijender Kumar. First prize was bagged by Navjot Singh from SPMR College of Commerce, while Anmol Sharma from GDC Bishnah was adjudged second winner and Roseleen Kour from SPMR College of Commerce was adjudged third winner.
Prof. Dileep Raina also spoke on the relevance of Philosophy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and enlightened the participants about significance of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's preachings. The event was coordinated by Dr. Anuradha. The event concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr. Rajinder Singh. |
