| ABDPSS organises Gopashtami Mahotsav | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti (ABDPSS), Jammu and Kashmir celebrated Gopashtami Mahotsav in the city of temples here with fervor and enthusiasm.
Gopashtami Mahotsav was inaugurated by NMC President Subash Shastri in the presence of Sunil Sharma Co-ordinator of ABDPSS. The function was started with Ganesh Poojan followed by vedic Mantrocharan by religious scholars. After Pooja, Parikrama and Aarti green leafy vegatables, fruits, Gud and other items of chara were handed over by devotees to Gou Mata in a very traditional manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Shastri expressed that such events helps creating a sense of responsibility amongst children, youth and their parents. Shastri lauded the efforts of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti for organizing such a type of event in the city of temples.
He made a humble appeal to the people from all walks of life to come and seek the blessings of Gou Mata for better day to day life and better tomorrow.
