PM reacted strongly on Pak's illegal occupation of PoK: Randhir Singh | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 4: Veteran leader and National Founder President Aromatic Plants Growers Association of India, Thakur Randhir Singh has welcomed the appointment of Girish Chander Murmu and R K Mathur as the first Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh respectively following the bifurcation of the state. Singh said scrapping of Article 370 which has outlived its utility and the common masses have not been benefitted from this constitutional provision and only few politicians and families have exploited it for their personal gains. Singh congratulated Prime Minister Marendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and his team by releasing the new maps showing the two UTs clearly demarcated and while Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir's Muzaffarabad, Poonch and Mirpur areas have been kept as part of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, Skardu and Gilgit and Baltistan have been shown as part of Ladakh UT. Singh demanded that these areas must be taken back adding that when our Prime minister Narendra Modi and his team could abrogate Article 370 and 35 A, he could also get these areas back as our Defence forces are also fully capable. Singh said that Prime Minister recently made a strong statement on the illegal occupation of PoK by Pakistan. |
