11/4/2019 10:23:04 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 4: The GGM Science College unit of Jammu Yuva Sanganthan (JYS) held a strong protest demonstration against the installation of toll plaza at sarore.
A large number of angered student protestors gathered at the college main gate and blocked the entrance. The protestors torched the effigy of Union transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari, they raised the slogans like "Roll back toll plaza, jammu k saath bhedvhaav bandh kro" and others.
Speaking to media persons, Chetan Sharma president student wing JYS said that the decision of the government to install toll plaza at Sarore is just like implementing jazia on the people of Jammu and categorised it as a discriminatory action.
He questioned the government that why they have failed to install toll plazas in Kashmir in the same way it is being done in Jammu.
He blamed the government to consider Jammu as a milking a cow which is being used by the government to collect all kind of taxes and revenues, when it comes of the development the focus gets shifted towards Kashmir region, and deprives Jammu of the development projects.
Meanwhile Thakur Virender Singh president JYS questioned the criminal silence of the opposition on this issue and also blamed the central government of playing the dirty game of befooling the people by saying that they will uproot the toll plaza as they are the one who installed it. He further warned the government not to test the patience of the Jammuties and remove the toll plaza at the earliest, otherwise all the youth and students of colleges and universities of Jammu will raise their voice and come on the roads.
