Neeraj urges LG to restore internet facility | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 25: Neeraj Gupta Sr. Leader JKNPP along with his party workers and supporters held a massive protest demonstration against the ban on internet for such a long period of time. He said that in present age of computers when everything is supposed be done online then how can we survive without internet facility. He said that Broad -Band connections provided by BSNL are insufficient and the Pvt. Companies are providing the connections at higher rates. It is not possible for the small business man to use the Broad Band connection as its cost is affordable for them, but for filling their returns they have no option, but to take Broad Band Connections which put extra burden on their business. Those who are not able to take the Broad- Band Connections are bearing penalties for late filling of GST returns and ITR's. He further added that the internet facility is the backbone of the economy of the country. As in absence of internet connection online transactions can't be made. Students who uses internet for preparing/downloading their notes/study material can't do so. There is no disturbance in Jammu and therefore we demand that the internet facility may immediately be reinstated. The people who were present on the occasion were Jagdish Singh, Surat Lal Romesh Lal etc. |
