Jammu, Nov 25: One day awareness/demonstration programme held at Soil Conservation Training School Miransahib, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & UTDRF J&K-Jammu, under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. During the awareness Camp, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, firefighting along with demonstration was given Forest Guards by the Civil Defence Instructors/Team.
While speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu (Dy.SP), Shashi Thakur, Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Jammu & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also shares their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster.
Indu Sharma, Principal of Soil Conservation Training School Miransahib appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing one day awareness programme. More than (60) Forest Guards & other staff members of the Institute participated the said programme. |
