Jammu, Nov 25: Punjabi Lekhak Sabha Jammu on Sunday conducted a fortnightly literary meeting at Tagore Public Hr. Secondary School, Rani Talab, Digiana, Jammu. Dr. Gurdip Kaur, well known Punjabi writer from Jammu was the chief guest whereas S. Ajit Singh Mastana, noted Punjabi poet from Kashmir & President, J&K Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, Srinagar presided over the meeting. Poets and writers of Punjabi attended the literary meeting and presented their creations. Dr. Monojit, President, PLS- J welcomed the poets and writers who attended the meeting. He thanked all the members and executive members for extending their full support to run the activities of PLS- J during his tenure as President of PLS- J. Literary meeting presented the literary creations in a Kavi Darbar, by the poets Mssrs. Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Jang S. Verman, Manjeet Singh Kaamra, Amar Singh Kuka, Balwinder Singh Jammu, Resham Kour Resham, Pyasa Anjum, Dr. Monojit, Ajit Singh Mastana and Dr. Vinod Nirmal. Hardeep Singh Deep, Bikramjit Vicky also shared their views on this occasion. It was resolved during the meeting to appoint S. Ajit Singh Mastana, President, J&K Punjabi Sahitik Sabha, Srinagar as Election Commissioner for the forthcoming election of President of Punjabi Lekhak Sabha, Jammu on 1st December, 2019 to conduct elections of the Sabha's President whose tenure is expiring on 29th November, 2019. |
