Udhmapur, Nov 25: Progressive Youth Society Ramnagar, District Udhampur J&K Organised a well planned programme related to Environment Awareness in the premises of Renu High School Tanda Gandarwan (Akhnoor) in which Anju Manhas Principal was the Chief Guest whereas Raj Singh Pawar presided over. The programme started with Welcome address by Balwinder Singh programme coordinator of P.Y.S followed by a debate contest by students namely- Sanjana, Vanshika, Sujal, Lakshmi, Jagmeet Kour, Simran, Suryansh, Nitin, Pankaj, Nikita, Jyoti, Ravi Sharma and Tammanna. The Speakers spoke about the causes of Environmental pollution and methods to protect the environment. Tree plantation was also stressed by the speakers. Suman Devi teacher conducted the proceedings of this function whereas vote of thanks was presented by Raj Singh Pawar. The participants were honoured with certificates by Progressive Youth Society. |
