Jammu, Nov 27: Rich tributes were paid to Girdhari Lal Dogra, veteran Congress Leader, former Minister and Member Parliament on his 32nd Death Anniversary. While paying tributes to G.L. Dogra, PCC leaders remembered his great contributions to the service of people during his long political career as Finance Minister in the State and as Member of Parliament. He was masiah of the poor and down trodden sections of the society who served the people of the state in different capacities and was always helpful to the common people. They also described him a true Gandhian having staunch belief on secularism, socialism and democracy. He (Dogra Sahib) worked for the welfare of poor and weaker sections of the society and served the state in various capacities. He played a vital and important role to bring railway line in Jammu and its further extension to through the state. |
