JAMMU, Nov 27: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu hosted Inter division state level basketball U/17 yrs girls at MA Stadium, Jammu.
The competitions were organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Govt., Jammu and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Jammu whereas Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports officer Jammu, was the Organising Secretary of the said competitions.
The selection of players of both the Divisions were made on the basis of their performance in the competitions, in presence of Convener Harjot Kour, Lecturer in Physical Education and technical officials along with escorted officials of Kashmir Division. The competitions were started under the guidance of experts of the concerned Game of District Jammu. The main objective of the competition was to select the participants for next top level of competitions i.e. School National Games coming ahead.
Matches were officiated by penal of experts of concern events of Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu. |
