| Div Com holds meeting to finalize stamp duty rates 2020 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 17: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today chaired a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division to finalise revised stamp duty rates for the year 2020 of immovable property.
ADC Jammu Dr Tahir firdous, AIG Registrations Rishpal Singh, DFO Jammu Alok Kumar Maurya along with senior functionaries of Agriculture, Revenue, PWD and other concerned departments were present in the meeting while Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing.
A threadbare discussion was held regarding stamp duty rates received from all the districts of division. Deputy Commissioners apprised the Div Com that the stamp duty rates have been analyzed in their respective districts.
The DCs informed about the area wise percentage of hike in stamp duty rates of immovable property in their respective districts. DCs also apprised the Div Com about the reasons of hike in stamp duty rates.
Later, the Div Com chaired a meeting to review the progress on District Environment Plan of the districts of Jammu division.
The DCs informed that district administrations have constituting teams comprising concerned officers to finalise the DEP. He asked the DCs to prepare the DEP at the earliest and submit the same to his office. |
