RAMBAN, DECEMBER 18: District Development Commissioner Nazim Zai Khan today distributed solar lights among the panchyats of district Ramban.
ADDC Nawab Din, DPO Sunil Bhutyal, BDO Ramban, Ashok Singh besides various officers of the concerned department, Sarpanches and Panches were present on the occasion.
DDC impressed upon the beneficiaries to install the solar lights on appropriate and designated places for the conveniences of rural population.
He said that JAKEDA under Department of Science and Technology had provided 250 lights to district administration, Ramban for further distribution among Panchyats.
He informed that lights were distributed as per requisition of Panchyats of Block Ramban, Batote, Rajgahr, Ramsoo, Banihal, Khari and Ukhral and consultation with PRIs for community use only.
He said the execution of the project has genuinely provided the lighting facility in prominent locations of the rural population in high-altitude remote areas. |
