Encroachers reclaim hospital's land, sow wheat crop | | | SAHIL KOUL Early Times Report KALAKOTE, Dec 24: Encroachers have reclaimed the land belongs to Kalakote Hospital, after six weeks when the local administration on the direction of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri demolished a temporary structure raised on the land retrieved it, by sowing wheat crop recently. The District administration had retrieved encroached land belongs to the health department in Kalakote town of district Rajouri on November 11, during an anti-encroachment drive conducted by the Tehsildar Kalakote. "On the spot, the land was handed over to the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kalakote. But few weeks after the entire exercise the encroachers reclaiming the land sowed wheat crop on said land", local said. They said around two Kanals of land belongs to the health department, where a old the building exists, had been retrieved in the month of November, due to failure of the Health Department to fence the area favored way to the encroachers to reclaim the land. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kalakote Krishan Lal when contacted said that the land was handed over the health department. "It is fault on the part of the health department", he said, adding that action regards will be taken with any delay. |
