| Mehjoor Foundation holds annual meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 24: Jammu and Kashmir Mehjoor Foundation today held bi annual meeting at Jammu to chalk out programmes to be organised during the winter months in Jammu.
As per press release, it was decided to organise a one day seminar on the topic of "Peace Communal harmony in the Poetry of Mehjoor" during first week of February 2020. Eminent scholars from all over the Union Territory are expected to participate in this event. President Mehjoor Foundation Peerzada Abdal Mehjoor presided over the meeting.
He revealed that a new edition of "Hayat-e-Rahim" written by Shair -e- Kashmir Mehjoor in the year 1916, shall be released in its new getup at the seminar.
The meeting deliberated on the significance of the book on "Sufi Tradition" in the present situation. Coordinator Jammu Sh. P L Shangroo, executive council member Brij Nath Betab and Asrar ul haq Coordinator Kashmir also participated in the meeting, the release added. |
