Jammu, Jan 6: A delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association led by Lalit Mahajan, President, BBIA presented a Memorandum to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Prime Minister Office, Govt. of India in presence of Satish Kaul, President JK Pharma Association, S.K. Bansal, Rahul Bansal, Sheikh Ashique President Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kashmir, Shahid Kawali today at New Delhi. While endorsing the decision taken by Govt. of India under the leadership of Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India in the Interest of Nation under “One Nation One Tax” Slogan w.e.f 01-01-2020 with the removal of Toll Posts across the State. Mahajan draw the attention of Minister that after abolishing the Toll Tax, it is need of the hour to provide additional Fiscal Incentive to exiting industry which includes Reimbursement of 5% as Financial Support to industrial Sector on the Sale Value of Goods sold within of Union Territory of J&K to exiting Industry, Reimbursement of 100% Road Freight to Industrial Sector on Raw Materials/Finished Goods within the State/from outside the State by road, Issue of notification in respect of duty draw back incentive under export obligation with retrospective effect, Existing State/Central Package of Incentives should be continued for the Existing Industry enabling the existing Industrial sector to compete with stiff completion from outside the state due to abolish of Toll Tax across the State as early as possible in time bound manner.
