JKTF holds meeting, discusses important issues | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Jan 6: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum held meeting under leadership of its Chairman Ganesh Khajuria to discuss the important issues pertaining to the teaching community. The meeting was attended by all the Provincial, District and Zonal body members. The main issues which were discussed in details were the pending salaries and arrears on account of 6th and 7th pay commission of the Masters working against the post of Head Teachers in the upgraded Middle Schools, removal of Pay Anomalies of Masters and Teachers, salary and conversion issues of ReTs, RReT’s , Grade II and Grade III, issue of Contingent Paid Workers/Land Donors, Transfers of Lecturers/Masters/Teachers who have completed their stay in Hard Zones and those who have been posted out of District and issue of Time Bound Promotions etc. While highlighting the salary issue and pending arrears on account of 6th and 7th pay commission Kuldeep Bandral said that the salaries of Head Teachers be streamlined permanently as this is hampering their household budget, necessary medications of their ailing families and school fee of their children for the last so many years when the centrally sponsored schemes like SSA and RMSA came into existence in the erstwhile J&K now UT.
