Jammu, Jan 6: J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages organized a Seminar at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu today to celebrate the Goden Jubilee of ‘Sheeraza’ Punjabi magazine of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages. S. Ajit Singh Mastana, senior writer from Kashmir was the guest of honour, Dr. Baljeet Kaur, HoD, Punjabi, University of Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion whereas the function was presided over by S. Kanwal Kashmiri, a well known Punjabi writer from Kashmir presided over the function during the inaugural session of the seminar.
Jb. Munir- ul- Islam, Secretary, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary and S. Popinder Singh Paras, Editor Punjabi, JKAACL shared the dais. Jb. Munir- ul- Islam, Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages welcomed the guests, writers and intellectuals present on this occasion. In his address, Jb. Munir- ul- Islam congratulated the Punjabi section of the Academy to cover a long journey of publication of Sheeraza Punjabi. He added that Academy is opting for making arrangements of making publications of Sheeraza online keeping in tune with the technology and to reach worldwide. Sheeraza Guru Granth Sahib Vishesh Ank and Collection of Articles were released on this occasion.
