JAMMU, Jan 31: A delegation of College Teachers’ Association (CTA) Jammu led by its President, Dr Rakesh Jasrotia met the Secretary, Higher Education Department, Talat Parvez Rohella and discussed various issues of college teachers.
The association demanded that due representation should be given to representatives of college teachers so that long pending demands of the college teachers are incorporated in recruitment rules being framed after notification of UGC Regulations-2018. Others issues raised by the association included creation of posts of professors and Vice Principal, granting of study leave, clearance of probation period, enhancement of superannuation age, implementation of transparent and rational transfer policy, clearance of probation cases, regular DPC, etc.
