Nakul Sharma, Chief Spokesperson, AJKYF and representative of Pahari Speaking Community welcomed the decision of Lieutenant Governor for giving 4% reservation to the Pahari Community of the region. He added that on one hand, they are not able to compete with other sections of the society who are better placed in terms of socio-economic position as also in terms of access to services like Education and Health Care due to above mentioned disadvantages.

Sharma demand enhancement in the percentage of reservation to 7% and said that 4% reservation is not sufficient for approx 10 lack population of pahari speaking community in the region as per population proportion.
