| Court rejects bail in attempt to murder case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Feb 1: Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi Amarjeet Singh Langeh rejected bail application of one Mohd Iqbal S/o Abdul Samad R/o Dhanour Tehsil Arnas District Reasi allegedly involved in attempt to murder case.
CJM Reasi Amarjeet Singh Langeh observed that it then becomes inevitably noticeable that indictment ascribed to petitioner and seven co-accused (who still are on the loose) has scared functionaries of different construction companies involved in the construction of railway track/ tunnels etc. and their employees/ workers including public at large. Inability on the part of police therefore in the circumstances when it quite ironically still struggling to nab absconding accused till date has a crippling impact on law abiding citizens who despise hooliganism. It needs no brainer to understand that bite of law is in its enforcement and afortiori therefore police needs to direct their attention on this crucial aspect. With these observations Court rejected bail application. --(JNF) |
