Jammu, Feb 1: With an aim to inculcate sense of responsibility and belongingness for the institution, boost confidence, enhance creativity, develop interpersonal relationships, time management and leadership skill among young and aspiring student enthusiasts, a weeklong Student Excellence and Learning Programme (SELP) under Employment and Skill Enhancement Scheme (ESES) launched under the Chairmanship of Secretary Higher Education Talat Parvez Rohella with GCET, Jammu as Nodal Hub for the programme today concluded here at GGM Science College, Jammu, the Lead College of the Cluster University of Jammu, Jammu. In the Induction Programme at GGM Science College, Jammu, 55 students selected on Merit Basis participated. The Programme was earlier inaugurated on 22nd Feb. 2020 by Prof(Dr) Kaushal Smotra, Principal of the College with inaugurate speech alongwith the senior faculty of AOL Rohit Ranjan, from AOL Banglore, Ajay Kapoor AOL J&K Co-ordinator for Bureau of Communication. DDC and SS RDP- Govt. Projects and his team members. The SELP of Art of Living under Induction Programme was Co-ordinated by Dr. Anita Brar from GCET, & Dr. Anil K. Verma as Nodal Officer from GGM Science College, Jammu. Earlier, presented the report highlighting that Induction Programme shall definitely Enhance Creativity of the students finally developing them as responsible individuals with sense of belongingness for the institution and hailed the participants and said Induction Programme plays greater role in boosting confidence and develop moral/ethical values.
