NDS felicitates local personalities

Jammu, Feb 1: Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) organised a special felicitation function to honour local personalities for their exceptional contributions in various fields.
Rajesh Gupta, Former MLA was Chief Guest on the occasion whereas the function was presided over by Sohail Kazmi, eminent Journalist, T. R. Tagotra retired KAS was guest of honour on the occasion, Rohit Choudhary, Social and RTI Activist was Special Guest and Sachin Sharma, CEO, Om Palace was special invitee. Dogra Harish Kaila, President, NDS co-shared the dias.
The personalities who were felicitated include Amarjit Kour in the field of literature and education, Arshad Khan for Sports, Mohammad Ashraf, Bureau Chief ETV, Tarun Uppal Social Activist, Prof. Bharat Bhushan Anand in the field of education and Bilal Bajaj for Journalism. Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS who compered the proceedings read citing for each personality honoured.
NDS has been felicitating the persons for their outstanding contributions so that society acknowledges their achievements. The other persons honoured also include Ratti Sharma for Journalism, Javed Ahmed Kakroo for social service and Sumeer Bharti IFS in the field of Forestry.
