Srinagar, Feb 1: A local court on Saturday extended the judicial remand of Islamic Tanzeem-e-Azadi (ITeA) chief Abdul Samad Inquilabi till February 20 in a case registered against him under Anti-National Activities Act. Inquilabi was produced before the court of 3rd Additional and Session judge, Srinagar. However, after hearing arguments from both sides, the court extended the remand of Inquilabi till February 20. ITeA was arrested on the intervening night of December 24-25, 2018 at Tral in Pulwama district and later booked under Public Safety Act (PSA). He was later shifted to Jammu and lodged in Kotbalwal jail. He was later shifted and lodged in district jail, Baramulla. He was recently re-arrested after a TADA court granted him bail in another PSA case registered in police station Sumbal.
