Jammu, Feb 1 : Security jointly conducted a search operation in Basanter river of Samba, the operation was conducted on basis of inputs given by the arrested sympathizers of three foreign terrorists killed in an encounter at Ban Toll Plaza on Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
According to sources, the security forces during the search operation found nothing. “A joint operation by JKP, CRPF, BSF and Army was conducted from Samba to Nanka Chack area along the Bassanter river”, they said. “Three sympathizers, who were ferrying terrorists to Kashmir valley, were arrested yesterday by security forces. Presently, they are being interrogated by the special operation group (SOG). On basis of clues from them during interrogation, the security forces carried out search operation on possible routes of the terrorists”, sources said.
