Tiny Tots celebrates Annual Sports Day

Jammu, Feb 1: Tiny Tots Hr Sec School Roopnagar celebrated 20thAnnual Sports Day in the School premises with full gaiety and fervour.
The programme began with the welcome address followed by march past and National Anthem. Different events were organised. Students of junior group participated in 100m relay , back race , side race. Senior students participated in 200m relay , three - legged race , sack race , Kho- kho , kabaddi and volley ball. Star Kids Nursery students also displayed their talents in Lemon -spoon race , Musical chair and Bucket and Ball.
Colourful cultural bonanza along with dances and skits also enthralled the audience. They could not stop thumping feet and clapping hands on Chak- de - India , Desh Rangeela and many more patriotic songs . Later on , the winners of different events were accoladed with prizes . The principal of the school congratulated students and parents for their outstanding performance.
She said sports and games plays very important role in ones lives and it makes a person healthy , fit and happy and thus it is essential to be a part of school curriculum.
