OBC PCC criticises reservation policy of Modi Govt
2/1/2020 10:48:44 PM
Jammu, Feb 1: The OBC Department of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee led by Chairman of the Deptt. Adv. Suresh Kumar Dogra addressed a Press Conference here today at PCC HQ Jammu, against the rationalization of Reservation Policy framed by Modi led Govt. for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in which the legal and constitutional rights of Other Backward Classes People who are maximum in numbers in J&K as well as in India have been violated and the innocent and under privileged class again cheated and be fooled by Modi led Central Govt. He said that the OBC status and the Mandal Commission report which guarantees 27% reservation and extension of National Commission for Backward Classes were totally ignored, which is the provision of UT. After the abrogation of Article 370 and formation of UT, the Centre Govt. has implemented all national laws in the newly carved UT of J&K .
but it is very unfortunate that the national laws for the OBCs were not implemented. The said community who was continuously fighting for their legal and constitutional rights for last three decades were expected their due demands would be fulfilled in the UT but again got disappointed by the rationalization of reservation policy of the ruling party.
