Mendhar, Feb 11: Bus stand in Mendhar town, where hundreds of commuters come every day, in such a situation, there is more difficulty in resting passengers so that they can wait for the Bus. The government passenger shed in the bus stand has been occupied for the last 10 years, on which no attention is being paid by the administration.
Local resident Mohammad Basheer, Mohammad aslam said that hundreds of travelers come here in the sun or rain, they have to stand in the open, which is a matter of concern. This matter was brought to the notice but till date no action has been taken. People have demanded from District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav to instruct Mendhar administrative officials that the passenger shed should be vacated and kept for the people.
When contacted to Tehsildar Mendhar Dr Vikram Kumar about this matter, he said that I have come to your notice, I will talk to the rural development department today and get this passenger shed vacated immediately. |
