JAMMU, Feb 11: Transport Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir Pardeep Kumar, inaugurated a week long Traffic Paathshala- a campaign to educate people on the need to make roads safe, here today
Kumar highlighted that this Paathshala is an initiative of the HDFC Bank to create awareness on the road safety measures to be adopted by the drivers as well as the pedestrians. He said that it is the responsibility of the driver to follow the rules and be careful, and in the same way passengers have to be cautious as well.
Speaking on the occasion, Transport Commissioner stressed upon the need of strict adherence to follow traffic rules and regulations which would result in minimizing the road accidents. He highlighted the importance of road safety measures and lauded the role of HDFC bank for launching this public conscious initiative. |
