JAMMU, Feb 11: Life is learning about zeal to celebrate, it is about enjoying every moment to its utmost and childhood is the most delightful moment of one’s life. Catering and ensuring that our Sanskriians luxuriate every hour of their stage, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu commemorates its annual day-Manan in which Sanskritians exhibited prodigious endowment and synchronization. The function commenced in the presence of Shailendra Kumar (Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Principal Secretary to the Govt. Election Department) as Chief Guest for the occasion, Shrikant Suse (SDM South) and Balwant Thakur (Cultural Diplomat of India to South Africa) as Guests of honour, Devraj Sharma (Sr. Advocate, Jammu) as Special Invitee, Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School), Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice-Chairperson), Coordinators. The function set in motion with the introduction about the theme “Manan” , presentation of saplings to the exalted guests, traditional lamp lighting . Ensuing this, the junior school choir enthralled the guests and august audience with the melodious songs. Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson delivered the welcome address along with junior head boy .The annual report was read by Trishna (CCA Coordinator) highlighting the accomplishment of school throughout this session. Myriad number of performances like Saraswati Vanadna and Hanuman Chalisa, Mime, Dance of 7 states, Skit on Save Rivers , play on Shakespeare and Qawali left the audience in awe. The zenith of the show was the Grand Finale, Mile Sur Mera Tumhara which venerated everyone. The school’s felicitation ceremony innerved the excellent performers in different fields which served as a source of inspiration for others as well. Speaking on the occasion, Shailendra Kumar motivated the children by sharing his experiences, struggle done and existence made while advising them to start working towards their goal for its timely accomplishment. The chief guest for the occasion inaugurated Electoral Literacy Clubs in the school for the students from classes 9th to 12th.
