One held with desi liquor | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 28: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a man for selling locally prepared liquor among villagers. Additional SP Nowshera, GL Sharma said that on a specific information received that a man in Saheri Tanda village of Sunderbani police station is indulged in storing and selling liquor among local masses after which a team of police headed by SHO Sunderbani Sanjeev Slathia under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Brijesh Sharma conducted a raid on suspected location in the wee hours of Friday. Suspected man identified as Rajinder Kumar son of Prem Nath resident of Saheri Tanda village was arrested from the spot after 35 litres of locally prepared liquor (Desi liquor) was seized from his possession. Police said that a case under relevant sections of law in FIR No 22/2020 under 48(a),48(f), 50(1) Excise Act have been registered in police station Sunderbani. |
