| Rape accused gets imprisoned for 10 years | | |

Jammu, Feb 28: Rape accused convicted and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by Principal Sessions Judge Rajouri.
In a significant Judgment the Principal Sessions Judge Rajouri Jaffar Hussain Beg today on 28-02-2020 convicted accused Hardev Singh in Case FIR No.71/2018 U/S 10 POCSO Act after hearing the final arguments advanced by Shaheen Ahmed Khan, Public Prosecutor Rajouri. The accused has been sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs.10,000. The convict shall serve additional sentence of six months in default of payment of fine. This is the 3rd conviction secured by the Public Prosecutor Rajouri during the last two months. |
