| GDC, Jindrah organises Inter – Semester Symposium | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 29: The Government Degree College Jindrah has organized an Inter- Semester Symposium on the theme “Women Respect, Challenges to women empowerment in India .
The event organized under the guidance of Principal of the College Dr. Raj Shree Dhar . She delivered a lecture on the Importance of Women As participants in development of the nation .” and sensitize the students to respect women by treating them as equals in every sphere of the life .
The programme was initiated by a lecture of Prof. Poonam Rainu (HOD, Sociology) on “Economic Challenges to Women Empowerment in India.” Students and teachers of the college also participated in this symposium .Dr. Ashaq Hussain ( Urdu ) , Dr. Seema and Vikesh Sharma acted as judges in the programme . Chakshu Sharma of semester 6th stood first, Lateif of semester 2nd stood second and Shiwali Sharma of semester 4TH stood third. All the teaching and non teaching staff and others were also present on the occasion. |
