JAMMU, Feb 29: The President Tariq Shah and members of NGO 'Jiyo Aur Jeene Do' appealed to the government that action should be taken against the company for reason behind the death of 12 infants in Ramnagar Udhampur.
During a meeting the president Tariq Shah said recently, 12 infant children died suddenly in Udhampur district the reason for which the cause of death has been found to be the cough syrup PC by P.G.I Chandigarh. As per the reports of PGI ,the chemical Diethylene glycol found in this syrup is a lethal chemical.
They demanded that the sale of such medicines should be banned immediately. There is also an appeal to our medical authorities not to allow such lethal medicines to be sold at any store. They also appealed to all the people, if medicine is seen anywhere, it shall not be bought and immediately be reported to the administration or organization. |
