Poonch, Mar 1: A Gujjar leader has demanded establishment of Tribal Developmental Council in Jammu and Kashmir with the financial and developmental power for development and welfare of tribal.
According to press release, Shamsher Hakla Poonchi demanded from Union government to sanction special package for the permanent settlement of nomadic Gujjar Bakarwals people of J&K.
He also demanded for sanctioning the special package for providing of basic facilities of life like road communication, electricity, water supply schemes, medical facilities and educational facilities in the areas that are inhabited by Gujjars Bakarwals in J&K. |
