KAKRYAL, Mar 1: The 61st meeting of Governing Body of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Kakryal, was held here and took several decisions for future growth of the hospital and further enhancing its operational capacities and standards of patient care in tune with the futuristic requirements. While expressing satisfaction over functioning of the hospital, the Governing Body emphasized the need for optimum utilization of available manpower, equipment and infrastructural facilities and strengthening other wherewithal, wherever required, for enhanced standards of patient care. In this context, the meeting also emphasised upon the hospital management to increase the frequency and duration of the visits of the reputed consultants from other NH hospitals to the SMVDNSH Kakryal in the required specialities in the best interest of the patient care. The meeting was informed that a good number of consultants from other NH hospitals in the country are regularly visiting SMVDNSH Kakryal and, besides, several renowned doctors are likely to join this hospital in the coming months in varied specialities. Dr. Ashok Bhan, Member Shrine Board and Chairman of the Governing Body of the SMVDNSH, chaired the meeting and Maj. Gen. S. K. Sharma (Retd), Member Shrine Board; Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Viren Shetty, Group Chief Operating Officer, NH; and Cdr. Navneet Bali, Director, Northern Region, NH; who all are Members of the Governing Body, participated in the deliberations. |
