Srinagar, Mar 1: An Army personnel was killed in a massive fire in the world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, official sources said here on Sunday. They sources said that the fire broke out at a Signal Station of Army in main Gulmarg. “Fire tenders were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance,’’ they added.
However, they said before the fire was doused off, an Army personnel was critically injured. “The injured was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed,” they said. According to the sources, the station was also gutted in the fire. |
